For a long time, I was focused solely on work and the results it brought. Professional achievements seemed like the only measure of success. But while everything looked good on paper, my body and mind were signaling clear signs of wear. My health, relationships, and balance were falling behind.
I led a successful telecommunications company. On paper, everything seemed perfect: growing profits and a solid career. Yet, I was so focused on results that I didn’t realize the cost. My health, well-being, and even personal relationships were being sacrificed.
It all came to a head when my seven-year relationship ended. Before leaving, my girlfriend asked me a question that echoed in my mind:
